Since so much has been going on lately in the name of "Freedom", I thought it might be interesting to find out exactly what constitutes our ideas of what freedom is to each of us. Comments?

My idea of liberty closely mirrors something Ben Franklin once said:

"Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for dinner. Liberty is a well armed lamb contesting the decision."

If the lamb was well armed they probably agreed to split a pizza instead of having lamb chops but the lamb would have to foot the bill for his freeloading third world wolf friends. In their gratitude the wolves would impose a tariff upon the importation of lambs wool in an attempt to gouge as many dollars as possible from the lamb. Then the wolves would get together with the weasels, hyenas and buzzards and conspire to drive the price of lamb food so high that the poor sheep would have to pay over $2 for a single gallon of lamb food. The powerful and influential wolves who ran the forest would profess undying love and loyalty for the lamb while at the same time secretly supporting the religeous fanatic followers of The Big Bad Wolf in their insane effort to destroy the lambs way of life.

I love lamb meat. Especially in gyros.
