Broussard and Vincent have BOTH stepped up in major ways, and I'm guessing even Barrington Edwards would have stepped up if he would have been given the opportunity as well.

Have they stepped up enough to be able to wrest away control of the LSU backfield from Addai and Carey? Is it possible that when those two return to form, there won't be enough balls to go around...

It's certainly a good problem to have, but is it just me, or did Justin Vincent and Alley Broussard make cases in the past two weeks to get moved towards the head of the depth chart?

Lucky for us it shouldn't make a big difference even if Saban makes a mistake on who to start. We're getting into the softer part of the schedule again, and I think things will just fall into place for us. These next games will hopefully allow Saban to decide who should be starting when the going gets tough again.

Well, Carey should return first and I think a trio of Carey/Broussard/Vincent would be a mighty big headache for opposing defense coordinators...Edwards probably wouldn't get as many carries as the others, but I'd like to see if he could have the potential that the other have.

We will have one hell of a stable of running backs.

Nick will likely play whoever is hottest on Saturday. With 5 backs to choose from, it should be no problem if one of them has a "down" game. Sit him and put in a hungrier running back.

The problem will be next summer. Just like last year when we were overloaded at QB, any RB who isn't in the top three at the end of spring practice will be looking at a position change or transfer opportunities. Especially if Nick signs a couple of stud RB's in February.
