What happens if LSU wins and OU loses?

    if LSU wins, and OU loses, USC may "slip" into the game

    OU aint doin so hot, K state just intercepted a scoring drive by OU.

    That's just WRONG. If OU loses, they should be out. End of story. They wouldn't even be Conference champs. They'd be conference CHUMPS. :cuss:

    The way I understand it is that OU has a very comfortable margin in the BCS, which means if they lose, they will need to use that margin to stay in. Human polls would probably elevate USC to #1 and LSU to #2 (if Tigers hold on tonight). OU would fall to 3. This puts USC in with a strong computer ranking and OU beats out LSU because of the aforementioned comfort zone in the current BCS rankings, which is pretty much the SOS component. Make sense?

    Not really. OU would not even be conference champions. This happened with Neb. a couple years back when they faced MIA in the Rose Bowl. CU was Conf. Champs and Oregon had won Pac-10. Both of them got screwed. Oregon destroyed CU and MIA destroyed NEB. Matchup clearly should have been MIA v. Oregon.
