Good threat from TideFans.com: Everyone has LSU #1. They don't look delusional on this thread...

Anyone watching last night had to be impressed. We all knew about our D, but man, our O looked incredible. Put those two together and you have a scary team.

But it's only one game. Gotta do it week in and week out for 11 more games to get where we want to be.

I did book my hotel room in NO for the BCSNCG this morning.:thumb:

ESPN in general, with Mussberger and Herbstrait, are doing everything possible to pump up the PAC 10.

    In Reality:

    1. LSU
    2. WVU
    3. Florida
    4. Oklahoma
    5. USC

I have a feeling that the ONLY way USC loses the top AP poll spot would be if George W. Bush were to wear a USC hat for seven days in a row.

It would be great to be ranked #1, but I think I'd rather have the media keep us at #2. The disrespect (and here comes OU) is a great motivator.

I'd much rather climb to #1. To be excluded from the championship game, you'd have to fall 2 spots, which if you don't mess up too bad, can guarantee you a spot in the big game. At #2, you can get shot out of it with a small slip up. Just review what happened in 2003. Ok. should have been out after losing to K. State in their championship game, but USC at #2 dropped out after our big win over Ga.

Give me #1 any day. Then ya just got to be mature enough not to let it go to your head.

No way WVU is no 2. They have no defense and struggled with Marshall yesterday.

    1. LSU
    2. OU
    3. USC
    4. Florida
    5. WVU, Louisville, Texas

I'm sure most folks know about this News Link site that gives you every newspaper link in the world. But in case some of you don't here it is.

Here's what I found from Roanoke, VA.

I never forgot the game in Blacksburg and how their fans kept chanting over rated. I notice on some Hokie boards this morning saying our fans have no class for chanting the same last night. Oh well....

I think that WVU would beat the snot out of OU by simply outscoring the Sooners.

Florida hasn't played anybody yet, but they are the defending undefeated NC team. I put WVU above them because Tebow has not yet played a complete game against a strong defense. Meanwhile, Pat White has plenty of experience.

USC is all HYPE to this point.
