Oh I agree with you, but seeing the reaction now and then is much different. Then we really didnt have much anyway, we had expectations but nothing to show for it. Now the LSU fans have tasted top 5 finishes, National Championships, SEC titles and pure domination. The anger now I think is much different. Then we were like, ehh someone new cannot do any worse, we suck anyway, etc Now people are off the charts and the team is 8-3. Back then we were what 3-8 I think something like that. So the fan base (myself included) is not happy campers and this team is 8-3 with a chance at yet another 10 win season and there is more fire the coach threads then you can count.... Ironically I remember how everyone was like "Nick Saban who ?" We hired a guy LSU hammered in the Independence Bowl.
So you're saying that back to back 3 win seasons is comparable to where we are now? I'm as disappointed as anyone, but you have to be at least a little rational. This is not in any way comparable to the end of the Dinardo era.
i htink we lose to arky(we won't be able to outscore mallet) and win the bowl game. i don't care who it's against, we will win. miles has at least shown that much. i often joke if football was year round and we had a month to prepare for each game miles would be undefeated. !twocrystals!

I know Miles is the HC so ultimately everything falls on his shoulders... and i'm tired of mentioning gc in these posts... but doesn't some blame fall on the oc in this as well... it's his offense out there, he knows the clock is running down, he knows we have no timeouts since we have to burn them all because of false starts usually... imo, it's even worse gc didn't have everyone he needed ready to go, afterall he's the offensive general on that field.

We beat Arkansas by 3, and give up 500 yards on defense. We play as an underdog to some team that's supposed to blow us out and we trounce them:geaux:
