This is in America, I assume? I still support their right to do this of course, but it's absolutely retarted. We aren't forcing them to be here, hell we are trying to send them back to Mexico!
Nobody has the right to raise any flag above the American flag -much less fly it upside down - in this country. :angryfire
We are? Doesn't look like it. Its not like we can use the excuse that we can't round them up because we don't know where they're at! I'm afraid we are losing this war, we certainly aren't trying to win. United we win divided we fall! :bncry:
I'm geting tired of this, so I say, in order to decide who stays, we do it iron chef style. Regional tournaments, with an NCAA bracket format. We'll let the top 5% at whipping up salsa and fajita quesadillas stay. The next 10% can be waiters, the next 5% bus boys. The rest ship out immediately.
Basic Flag Etiquette: Standards for handling and displaying the American flag are set forth by the United States Code, written into law by Congress in 1942. This federal code does not impose penalties for improper handling or misuse of the flag, but states do have laws regarding this, and most of our fellow citizens expect the flag to be treated with respect.
Those photo's were likely from the early protests a couple of weeks ago where there were thousands of Mexican flags. Last week's protests were conspicuously missing the Mexican flags and the disrespected US flags. It seems the American backlash was large and broad and diverted the message away from their desire to be American citizens. It just pointed out that they were direspectful foreigners. So magically, in protests across the country last week, the Mexican flags had disappeared. You think these "spontaneous protests" aren't a carefully orchestrated and staged event? Think again.
i caught that show the other day and quickly noticed the hottie hostess whom I soon found out was billy joel's trophy wife.
