NC: Ohio State v. Michigan or FL Rose Bowl: USC v. LSU or Michigan If Arkansas beats FL, then a BCS bowl could choose FL over LSU especially the Orange Bowl, in which case we would be out b/c you can only have two teams in from the same conference. If Arkansas beats FL, we could move up to #3 in the BCS or at least some of the human polls. If Michigan is in the NC, does that mean that we would be eligible for the automatic top 4 finish then or does Michigan still keep that clause even though they are playing in the NC? If WV beats Rutgers, might a one-loss Louisville (which might jump us in the polls) get an at large spot? If Florida wins, we would be the only logical second SEC team to get a spot. If FL gets to the NC, then MI is at large, Boise is at large, leaving two: ND/LSU/Louisville? You would think we would get into a BCS Bowl. If FL wins but doesn't get to the NC, then Ohio State v. Mich, leaving Boise State as the only automatic at large which means we would almost assuredly get one of the remaining three. I wouldn't mind playing Boise or Wake or ND, because I think it would be a very winable game. That would mean we would finish #2 or #3 in the final polls after having won a BCS Bowl. Arkansas just went up 21-17. I guess we are hoping for a close FL win, which would pretty much assure us of getting into a BCS Bowl. Can someone explain all the scenarios who knows what they're talking about? Go West Virginia (right?)!
A close game (SECCG) either way could be disasterous. A florida blowout puts them in the NC A florida close win still can put them in the NC. An Ark close win would put Ark/Fla in the BCS (FL to Orange) An Ark blowout is absolutely needed for us to have a solid chance.
