What was Miles trying to do calling a timeout after the interception???? Why isn't anyone talking about that? I would love to hear his explanation. Is he in that far over his head? He looked completely confused to me. I live in Nebraska and went to the NU/OSU game when Miles had Tatum Bell and Rashaun Woods and some hotshot QB. At the time they were calling them the best offensive trio in the country. OSU was beaten by a mediocre NU team with far less talent due to a terrible game plan that did not exploit the talent gap he had in his favor. I am also quite familiar with Pelini. His style is bend don't break and wait for the other team to make a mistake. It is going to be a frustrating three years before these clowns get fired!

I'm just glad one of the student managers got between him and the referee. I don't know what to make of this. It is Football 101.

It's just plain scary...and in my opinion was the most telling moment of the night.

Here is the picture of the attempted time-out. When we int, he jumps up and down, screams "yeah," and yells "time out, time out!"

This gets the Chris Weber award of the year (sort of). I'll bet he gets taunted with "time out" when we go to Bama.

it was a stupid Mistake, this isn't Oklahoma State maybe the bright lights confussed him. I sure hope it's his last silly goof up. if he gets the rest of the stuff fixed, eh wt heck... if not... it's prolly part of a bigger problem.

I'll say this we'll know for sure in three games. time will tell, painful as it may be.

I've seen some stupid calls made in coaching, but not something like that. That was a big time red flag. Hopefully that was just a mistake which is on the surface and not something that goes a lot deeper.

I hate to say it, but it looks like Miles still doesn't get it. Look at the quote from the Advocate:

" 'Ol Monk said, 'Hey, we ain't got one," Miles said during Wednesday's Southeastern Conference coaches teleconference. "I said, 'Good.' "

He thinks that the mistake was trying to call a timeout when there were none left, not that a TO was unnecessary.

I don't know what to make of this so i'll just say he probably made a mistake???
I don't know all the rules of football and probably never will, but I expect my football coach to know them backwards and forwards. Time will tell and that's a fact.
