ESPN Gameplan had the LSU/UNT game on schedule. Now it's gone. :cussid the waiting around make us miss the available slot? I'm in North Carolina, and every year order Gameplan in advance just to see LSU games. Anyone know how this works and whether there is still a chance Gameplan picks up the Tigervision cast? I know it's just UNT, but looks my my withdrawals may continue.
Just call your provider have them look up in their computers and ask them if they will still carry the game. And if your provider is not Time Warner you might get an honest response.
So what's my chances of going to a local Fort Lauderdale sports bar and being able to watch the game?
I will call Shuck and Dive to see if they are gonna carry it somehow. They always have the LSU games (the official LSU/Saints hangout in the Fort Lauderdale area). Can it be paid for as a PPV by a sports bar somehow?
Gone from where? What source is telling you the PPV broadcast in Louisiana won't be available on GamePlan everywhere else? If it's DirecTV's schedule, I wouldn't worry about it. They change it all the time up until the day of the game. As far as I can tell there have been two main sources from ESPN with the GamePlan games listed, and both still have the LSU game as an available option: http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/schedules http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/scoreboard?confId=80 The first link is updated to the point they already have Arkansas at Texas canceled. LSU has a link that was updated yesterday that also lists GamePlan as an option for out of state - TigerVision 2008 Ordering Information/FAQ Anyway I'm pretty confident that the LSU - North Texas game will be available on GamePlan out of state as well as on Tiger Vision in Louisiana.
On GamePlan, yes. Will you most likely be able to convince the establishment to change it off of the USC/tOSU game being played at the same time is the real question...
It is not showing up on my Directv personalized sports schedule either. But Gameplan is horrible at their advance scheduling. I never find they are correct until the day of the game. I do think that LSU will be on. At least I hope so since the watch party for my family is my house this Sat night.
