in its own internal investigation of its academic eligibility compliance standards... This stems from the New York Times reporting that last year, Clarett walked out of two final/mid term exams, then was allowed to take an oral re-test. He passed both classes, even though the manner of retesting was never an option in the classes he utilized. I'm just wondering...When will the staunchly resilient and academically impeccable Ohio State University go after the malicious reporter who went and ran a story of this nature, besmirching their academic and their athletic department's reputation? I'm guessing we won't have to hold our breaths... This punk got a Caddy Escalade EXT, faked a burglary into it, claimed thousands in clothing and other merchandise were stolen, and got reimbursed by an insurance company for it all. A University which took NO action over the alleged academic improprieties... Just another brick in the wall...
Actually, it was a Chevy Berlinetta, it REALLY did get broken into, he did falsify the police report by "enhancing" the value and quantity of personal contents, but.........he received NO reimbursement from the insurance company, because he didn't own the car. He is charged with "filing a false police report", a misdemeanor in Ohio. He has yet to face a judge. You are correct in the "alleged" preferential treatment of a star athlete. I wonder if the Science Dept. or Business School offers oral, make-up, exams at Ohio State.
