Ok, so i'm just trying to deflect some attention away from the horrendous situation at Penn State. But here are some Hilltopper facts: 1. WKU is riding a 5 game win streak. 2. Western Kentucky has never lost to LSU. 3. WKU has never lost to a #1 team. 4. The Hilltoppers are 1-0 in LSU's Tiger Stadium. The Hilltoppers are coming to get us! (ok, a lame effort, but all facts are accurate!)
If WKU plays us close that will be good for this team, a good wake up call before heading to Ole Piss who will be nuttless next year and then turkey day at home against the hogs. LSU still has work to do, and thats before the SECCG
I'm really hoping to see zack mett play a good bit. I want to see him throw the ball, not just come in and hand off a few times. W.Kentucky is a good team to do that with after the duo get up about 3 scores. I also wouldn't mind seeing JJ have a chance to run the "pro-style" offense. There was a lot of talk about how much he had improved, I'd like to see that improvement. May be a good game to practice thowing some screens to the RBs out of the backfield as well .... being as our OC's don't seem to know what that play is.
Frankly I think Lee needs to play a ton and get his head right. We have seen it before with Lee when things get dicey his really spirals. We need to get him back to first 8 games Lee not 2 picks in a row Lee against Bama. We will need him vs. Arkansas....
