This is rather big news for any fans who are still dreaming of a chance at the national title. If WVU holds on, LSU will probably move past VA Tech in the next poll (assuming LSU beats Auburn). If VA Tech then beats Miami and LSU continues to win, we should move ahead of Miami as well.
Although our weak ass out of conference schedule certainly won't help. Miami even with a loss will be ranked ahead of us. There still is some hope left though. Go Mountaineers.
Not to change the subject, but I am surprised that the handle "LSU" was not taken up until someone took it this month. Imagine all the people that registered names on this board over the past two years and the single reason why we are all here , "LSU," remained untaken. Maybe thats stupid, but I find it funny...
I assume the name wasn't taken because many people probably assumed that the name was taken so they picked something else. But also a lot of people like to have more descriptive nicknames.
I'm sorry, but Virginia Tech hasn't really played anyone yet. This loss, especially as bad as it was, should push them down below us if we can beat Auburn (I do realize that's a big IF) That loss I would think would hurt them more than ours to Florida, what do you guys think?

Beacuase Florida was our wake-up call. Also did you catch the ESPN game tonight? #3 Va Tech was knocked off by unranked West Virginia, thats why every game from now on is IF we win............
