Wow didn't think that they'd drop TN past us but it seems like they've been getting hosed on all season. http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/rankings
Yeah, I was surprised to see UT drop behind us. However, any time you can get 2 spots up on your bye week, I'm all for it! This week will be huge for us. 'Bama is quietly getting their fare share of votes for the top 25 and I think that history has proven to us that if there's one team that's NOT, in the least bit, intimidated by "Death Valley", it's 'Bama. With Wilkerson going down last week, looks like both teams will be down argueably their top leader each (Brodie Croyle). We really need to jump on them early, our offense needs to come together and play with some intensity and execute our offense. We need to be in a position that our offense doesn't feel too pressured to win the game.
no need to be surprised....we have lost to the #3 and #5 teams in the nation at their stadiums. Tennessee lost at home to #3 and an unranked team.
No, I'm surprised. The polls are so "team biased" it's pathetic. We lose to Auburn by 1 point on the road and drop 9 spots. We then get thrashed by UGA and drop further (this one was understandable) Meanwhile, Miami loses to unranked North Carolina and THEN by UNRANKED Clemson in back-to-back weeks and those a-holes are STILL 17th in the nation?????? o: Call me crazy, but I'm starting to lose faith in the polls.
I know what you mean. That's why I pay very little attention to them. In my mind, there is not a gnat's a$$ worth of difference between, say, the #12 and #18 teams in the country.
