Welp, I can't say I've ever heard of sleeping pods in a "locker room."

That's messed up. Eric Reid was an All-American and one of the best players to wear the purple and gold. He gave his all for his team and school (and us, the fans). He starred on some of the best teams LSU has ever fielded. He has one of the most iconic moments (stealing the ball from the Bama TE in mid-air) in one of the biggest wins in program history.

But he's no longer a Tiger, because he has opinions you don't share.

That says way more about you than it does him.

All I can say is being a great athlete in the past doesn't always get you a pass for being a douche later in life.

Sure, call him a douche. I probably don't agree with half of what Reid has to say. But I would never write off a person as 'no longer a Tiger' just for being outspoken.

Do you think Billy Cannon - a convicted felon and crook - is 'no longer a Tiger'? I don't.

Actually while I recognize his contribution while he played his actions since are not in line with LSU traditions. His kneeling, speech and other acts are outside our traditions. It seems he has rejected being a Tiger. I still say f him.
As to Billy Cannon he served his time and repaid his debt many times over. Again he was always recognized for his play and his life after his time in prison shows he remains a Tiger.

OJ Simpson was a great running back and a Heisman Trophy winner. Do you think he should still be warmly received as a Trojan?

Nah. And i'll turn on Eric Reid if he ever murders two people and is acquitted in a ridiculous manner. Or, if he begins breaking into women's apartments while they're sleeping (Hi, Cecil Collins).

that professor has nothing to complain about. i was in school at LSU a year ago and its crazy nice. classrooms are nice, buildings are fine.

middleton library sucks, but who really needs a library in 2019? and also they already have a plan in place to smash and replace it.

athletes at a big time programs work hard as fuck. i say build em a palace.

this is a bit over the top. at most an athlete in college has been playing his sport for about 15 years +/- a couple. most of those years were straight fun and not really work. so lets say from high school through college they busted their ass... 6-8 years. i venture none of us had the option of busting our ass for 8 years for a chance at hitting the jackpot.

of course we did. work hard in high school, go to yale, go to wall st, done.

but who wants to do the work? not me i dont like to do homework.

LSU players work really hard. eating right, lifting weights, early morning workouts, outdoor practices in the murderous heat of baton rouge. i think i read that the basketball team has 6 AM workouts multiple times a week. they work really hard. and they earn the contract with cbs or espn to broadcast their games for 500 million or whatever. so as far as i am concerned, they cannot be treated too well.
