No doubt about it, you guys showed you were deeper, better coached, and just plain better. Tuitama has now been playing scared the last two starts, and the doubts are rising...hopefully he can recover. Your D-Line made mince-meat of his slow decision-making. And it is clear Chris Henry shouldn't be starting, however many of us have been saying that for a while. This game will most likely shake off the bandwagon AZ fans, (3-8 and bandwagon? Actually, believe it) as you beat us by more this game than you did in your NC season, when we were in the pits of the Mackovich era. Good game, and glad to see no one really got hurt (with the exception of Barnett, but hopefully it is a sprain). LSU really showed why I became VERY nervous about this game the last 2 days, and showed how far we really are. I don't think you guys will challenge for a NC just because of your schedule. If you had some of those tough games at home, I definately think you could be real contenders. Nevertheless, fun talking with y'all and have a good season.
Oh, we were pretty damn bad. Midway through the 3rd quarter you had about 9 X as much offense as we did. Good lord I am pissed. *Leaves to get drunk as *****
Thanks for representing your school well. LSU has been in the pits before - that's a miserable feeling. Alot of people in the know think that Stoops will be able to build Arizona up again; we at LSU know that coming out of mediocrity takes time. Good luck and best wishes for growing success this season.
Hope you guys bounce back and have a good season. Another good recruiting class and Stoops will bring you back. :thumb:
Even though it was a penalty, Tyson Jackson got into Tuitama's head on the very first play of the game. He was scared all night, and rightfully so, the Tigers must have hit him hard every other play.
I agree. The first pass was crisp, after that hit, Tuitama didn't even look close to the same EDIT: Word is he might of gotten a concussion during the game, and I wouldn't doubt it was on that hit. If so, that explains a lot. But I would of rather Stoops called a TO and let him rest a little.
I've enjoyed reading your posts on here the past week Cubix. Hopefully you stick around and come back and talk football with everyone here every so often. Good luck to UA for the rest of the season.
Thanx for all your insight Cubix...you are why people LOVE this forum and why it is a pleasant place for not only LSU fans, but our opponents as well!! Best of luck to you guys this season and dont be shy around here!!
