How do they know if you live out of the state and is there a work around for somebody out of state thanks
I'm guessing you will have to pay with a credit or debit card and they will verify the Zip. I would offer my card but you will have to cover the NSF.
Your IP address can be traced to a geographical location in addition to the billing zipcode of a credit card.
Couldn't someone who purchases the game simply cut and paste the web address to this board. That way EVERY Tiger fan worldwide can log on and enjoy the game. :thumb:
From LSUSports.net Seems you could save your money if you just stick a telescope on the roof of kirby smith and point it at the scoreboard. btw, check the chat on gameday if you need a radio stream :yelwink2:
i think there is some way to set up a proxy isp in another state, but i dont know anything about it. maybe you can figure it out from a net search
Is this the same vendor that offered streaming video a few years ago? Perhaps it was the season opener against LA Monroe? At any rate, the quality was horrible and they refunded everyone who purchased it. But, the point is that it was supposed to only be available to Louisianans. But, I live in Texas, and I was able to buy it just by telling a little white lie and saying that I live in Louisiana. Also, does anyone know why the video would be restricted to residents of Louisiana and Kentucky? All I can think of is that there is some sort of contractual restriction imposed for whatever odd reason and they would be happy to collect money and allow non-Louisianans to see it as long as they don't know that is the case. So, perhaps everyone is on the "honor system" and the company raking in the $$$ is happy to trust that no one outside of those two states will buy it. I will certainly give my best efforts to buy it. If I have to get a friend or relative in LA to buy it for me, I will. I can't imagine that they are sophisticated enough to determine where my computer is. Could they be? Anyone know? Thanks. :geauxtige
