I just wanted to post to remind people to wear gold to this game. LSU is spreading the word themselves. I know there will be a bunch of people on here who feel they have to rage against the machine and say "I can wear whatever i want, i'm cool and don't have to wear what people tell me, i'm a big boy" and to all those people, you need not reply, and yes you are a big boy and can wear whatever you want. But for all those who didn't know. Please try to wear gold, I think it would be cool to see Tiger Stadium with nothing but gold.
Here come the anti-color coordination people. :cuss: I think it's great when you can look at a stadium and only see one color in the stands. I was impressed when I was at the Auburn game and I saw nothing but Orange with the occassional purple.
Darn.. there goes another $50 for the Gold JV jersey.... Oh well... I kinda wanted one anyway. I almost bought one when I got my white one...
My issue is not that "I can wear what ever I want." It's that LSU has two colors, Gold AND Purple. Why do I never see an all purple game? I just think both colors should be represented. But if we have to go all one color, at least it is one of our team colors and not white. I hope I never see another white out, dumbest idea ever.
Is someone in the athletic department getting paid to decide which colors fans should wear to the game? If so I want that guy’s job when he retires, either that or they should replace him with one of those magic eight balls. Skip grabs the mystic fan color ball “What color should we coordinate the fans in this weekend???” Skip shakes the ball…”Out look not so good try again next home game.”
Do you really think it takes a lot of time, money, and effort on LSU's part to tell people to wear gold??? Give me a break! :dis: All it takes is a phone call to the media.....
