There is nobody that we can't beat. I am pretty sure of that. My confidence in our defense is sky high right now.
USC probably goes undefeated the rest of the way - but Ohio State gets spanked at Michigan next week - thier luck runs out... we still have to take care of our business before we worry about others - we cleared one hurdle tonight - 3 more still await.
Ok, I agree the Luckeyes lose their luck in the Big House, but USC should win out. ESPN stated last night during the game if LSU wins out, we should pass USC in the BCS rankings. I know we all agree with that, but would that send us to the Big Dance if we take care of business till then?
If we don't make it to the sugar bowl, there is no one I would like to beat the crap out of more this year than ohio state. I'm so tired of hearing how incredible they are. They lucked out! Damn it these media fools piss me off.
No cr@p! They can never just go in and win a game, they must be given the game in order to escape with a victory. Why can't the media see this?
The media does see it. Every week they say "Ohio State escapes with another", or "Ohio State squeaks by".
All you are supposed to do is win, why is this a problem. If we win out we have a good chance at making the Sugar. And if we continue to win next year, we become that Ohio St/SC team that gets a pass in the polls for beating a substandard SEC team by 6 pts. It's all part of becoming a major big time player in college football. Miami and Fl St are able to stay high in the polls b/c they only loss 1 or 2 games a season (if that). We are building to that, so this is all part of it. I just don't want us to become an Oregon team that complains about getting screwed by the polls, only to fall flat the next season, when the pollsters are ready to start giving us the benifit of the doubt. All I'm saying is, if we are able to continue playing like this through the season and into the next, we will be fine and stay in the top 10 even with 1 or 2 losses, becoming that big time program Saban told us he was building.
IF we do not make it to the Sugar Bowl, what factors dictate which BCS bowl game we would play and who would be our opponent?
