    I would've been severely disappointed had we ever hired Tubberville. End of story.

    I don't think Tuberville is a good fit at all in LA. Tuberville represents corruption/immaturity. Saban is a much better fit.

    We lucked out. We may not have gotten Spurrier but we got Saban.

    Not saying it's right, but I think for a lot of outside people the state of Louisiana is THE definition of corruption, simply because of the political atmosphere that has haunted the state for a lot of years. And this writer is writing from outside the state.. so TT would in fact seem like a great fit.

    Actually, Neal McCready (the writer) is from Ruston, La...He also attended Ole Miss.

    Since moving to Tennessee, I've realized that Louisiana doesn't have the market cornered on crooked politics...

    Right. New Jersey has always given us a run for the title of most crooked politicians. They have the Sopranos and we have the Sopraneauxs

    Don't forget the Texas legislative Democrats slinking off to Oklahoma and then New Mexico to avoid a vote on Congressional redistricting. Now, the state of Texas is without an educational finance system--but, you know, priorities!
