the tiger eye at midfield is nice, but we've had the same looking endzones for 3 straight seasons now. i just think it's nice to switch things up every so often, maybe even copy tennessee and have a purple and gold checkerboard endzone format. i would like your thoughts on this. also, maybe do like the 86 tigers, have the letters lsu in the end zone w/a circular formation around each individual letter.
I like them the way they are. Im not opposed to change, but I cant stand that checkerboard stuff. I didnt like the circles around the letters, either. Maybe change the lettering to read "TIGERS".
NO CHANGE I Love the Eye it should never change. The Endzone's look Great you dont come to LSU for Checker Board endzone's you go to Tennessee for that. When you come to LSU you see the EYE and LSU in the endzone. NO CHANGE WANTED OR NEEDED!!!!! Genius is there anything at LSU that you like? ITS SO LOUD YOUR DEAF
i would like them to stop painting the 5's on the field. no one else does that anymore. we know when the ball is at the 5 and the 15 and the 25
Leave it ALL Alone Leave it all alone. The things that you have mentioned are the things that sets LSU apart from other schools. I especially like that the lines are marked every 5 yards. You are absolutely right Dan that no one else does that anymore. All the more reason that LSU should be the only one doing it. Same thing with the H style goalpost, no one uses those anymore but we do and that makes in great IMO. (Although I did hear that Florida State was asking the NCAA's permission to use the H style goalpost recently-Not sure though) You can't start a tradition if things keep changing.
Yeah, FSU is using the "H" goalposts now. Copycats. Pretty soon they'll have Mike the Tiger riding that horse out onto the field when they score... GET THIS DAY OVER WITH! Gameday Eve is just too long. I'm not going to get any work done today... LSU 27 UF 24 GEAUX TIGERS!
You got that right. I also hate waiting all day Saturday for an away night game. At least with home night games you can spend the day tailgating. With away night games I just pace around all day watching the clock. Even watching the other games on TV seems to make the day drag on forever.
Fridays definitely drag. I don't mind Saturdays as much with away night games. I'm looking forward to this week's games with all of the big ones during the day. When LSU loses a big game, I don't care about college football at all (at least for a week). This way I can get into some games before the main event. Someone needs to start an "official" prediction thread for LSU-Fla and maybe a separate one for all of the other games, FSU-Miami, UT-OU, Tenn-UGA, Kent-South Car. Oh yeah, this was supposed to be about the field. I like it just fine.
