Does Ryan Perrilloux stay at LSU? Does Matt Flynn beat out JaMarcus next year?

Flynn certainly is more mobile than Russell and maybe smarter too! He reminds me somewhat of Matt Mauck.

Perrilloux is probably the most talented of them all. Does he leave knowing he won't play until he is a redshirt JR. I say he transfer's out this off season.

 

nawww not so much. lol I think the starter has just emerged.

 

Sorry, I'm glad Flynn had a great game, but there will be no controversy on the team, just with the fans. JR starts until he is gone, which will probably be after next year.

Like I said in another post though, it would not surprise me if we used em both next year.

 

Unreal. No there's not. The starter will be the QB that puts LSU in the best position to win. Russell, Perriloux, Flynn, doesn't matter. Can't wait to see how it turns out, but I'm not convinced any of them will transfer (prior to tonight, I had a QB in mind that would leave.)

 

It may be purely coincedental, but our recievers finally lived up to their potential. No drops, great yards after catch, and how many INTs? Oh yeah, NONE. And against whom? Oh yeah, the top-ranked pass defense in the country. But it's probably just a coincidence.

 

Depending on the recovery of JaMarcus this off season and the possible grade problem we have all heard about....

lf all is ok..

JR is still the starter
MF is in reserve and would get PT if JR stumbles
RP is still to young, and needs more time to learn the system.

lf all is ok but..

MF gets the start
JR will transfer quick and try and sit out next year to save his draft status and a senior year on another team.
RP still isn't ready

lf JR cant comeback... no contraversey

 

and here in lies the way things are decided. Don't we all HOPE that the COACHING staff, plays the best personell avaialble? be it MF, JR, or RP. ?

 

I have no reason to think otherwise.

This is the best QB "problem" LSU has ever had, as far as I know.

I've seen plenty of young QB's that started their Freshman season and are great. You can't say RP is still too young without ever seeing him play. Besides, he's had a whole year to learn from watching JR and MF and the coaches. If we need him next year, I think he'll be ready.

Does RP get the starting job? I don't know about that. The coaches will mostlikely give it to either MF or JR because they've seen them both play in big games. But I wouldn't count out RP yet. I'm really excited to see him play, and I just hope he doesn't Transfer out.
