Even with a win and all 3 teams above us losing we wont move up past 3. The losing team of the title game is pretty much guaranteed a 2 spot. Unless it were to be a blow out.
Lets just hope to put ND in its place don't worry about the ranking which won't help any for next year.
Ummm... Of the three teams in front of us, two play each other. There will also be a winner in the BCS NC game. They will be the champions, unless of course the AP votes USC as NC....:hihi:

On the contrary, where you finish one year definitely affects where you start the following year. And where you start makes a big difference in making the BCS. We're only in this year because we started high and were in everyone's subconscious, thus making us rise quicker back into the top 10 after our losses. And I concur that I don't see us ending any higher than 3, but probably still 4, with a win.

There's no way Ohio State drops below 2 with a loss. They've basically been #1 by a landslide all year. I'm torn on who i will root for in the Rose Bowl, i hate both teams, however i want LSU to move up in the rankings...
If Florida rips them a new one I bet they could drop. However it will most likely be a defensive game so I don't see it happening.
