with signing the best class in the nation. Best of luck to you guys in the fall. I will be pulling for you to win the SEC!
Thanks, aggie. It's been a long recruiting season, but great fun. Say, do you guys play any baseball?
red55, Yeah, we play baseball...just not as good as you guys!!! I first started liking LSU because of baseball as a kid in the late 80s and early 90s. I had a nintendo game entitled, "Baseball Stars" (I think that was the name). On the game, I named all of the players after the Tigers and even had purple and gold unis. I remember McDonald pitching...among others. Good luck this year on the diamond. If possible, I would like to make one in Baton Rouge...if tickets can be found! Do you know off hand if the Tigers are playing in/around the Houston area?
The schedule shows no games in Texas this year. But Houston plays three games at LSU. You can probably get tickets easiest at U of H. 2/21/2003 Houston Baton Rouge, La. 6:30 p.m. -- 2/22/2003 Houston Baton Rouge, La. 2 p.m. -- 2/23/2003 Houston Baton Rouge, La. 1 p.m. --
my best friend just signed with them in baseball out of frank phillips juco. Don't know if you have heard of him aggie his name is John Russ. He is throwing 92-94 consistant and hit 96 on the radar last week. he was a good pick up for ya'll. Ya'll had a good recruiting season yourselves. Hopefully with fran and saban not liking each other they will bring back the series.
It would be great to have the football series again... I have not had much time to follow baseball, much less, any sport this semester. I am immersed in graduate studies. I hope to be studying at LSU in the fall...pursuing a doctorate. At this rate, fall will be here in about three weeks! Anyway, I hope to be a Tiger soon. Wish me luck!
