I saw an ad for this awsome looking crystal LSU National Champion football helmet by Waterford in the Houston Chronicle Sports page today. It is being sold by Foley's and is only available by phone. The number is 1-800-472-6437. The catch is it cost $175. It is a cool item and I thought I'd share this with all Tiger Fans.

Just wanted to warn you.. it's very small. It's not near the size of the real thing.

Saw one of the LSU NC Helmets in Foleys tonight. They are about 3"x 3" (maybe 3 1/2) has LSU 2003 National Champions etched on the right side. Limited to 500 pieces(?) I think. I had already seen the football at Lee Michaels. Both are really, really nice. I am thinking of getting one or the other. Damn they are $175 Helmet , $179 Football.

I had to BEG the wife to buy it....

And then she tells me - "THAT THING IS GOING TO YOUR OFFICE!"

Ah, the sheer bliss of marriage...
