has anyone watched a game through lsusports.net. I am wondering if the quality is any good. Let me know because I don't want to waste my money or time.
I've used lsusports.net when the LSU games are not televised. Now, you don't get a live televised feed of the game, unless things have changed, but you do get the radio broadcast and a stats thing that updates after every play. It's not as good as being there or watching it on live TV, but it is better than nothing.
I think he means if the pay-per-view thing that lsusports.net is doing worth the $15. I'm in Alabama and the pay-per-view thing is only available to people in Louisiana and Arkansas. It is free for the radio broadcast and the updated stats page.
I think they are actually going to do that broadcast over the internet, which is evidentally legal per SEC rules, but only show it on TV pay per view in Louisiana and Arkansas. You can go to LSUsports.net and click on the link to see a test of the picture. It is very small and i wouldn't do it. I emailed them and asked if the picture on the test is the same size as the actual broadcast but haven't heard back from them. i also asked LSU AD's why the game is not on ESPN's Gameplan but haven't heard back from them either.
The test video they had as a clip form Victory For LSU dvd and it looked very nice in full screen. It even looke dfine when output to tv. The game itself will be live video feed with three alternating camera angles. The sound will be the radio call.
i usually listen to the radio broadcast on the internet, but am itching to watch the tigahs play. cajdav keep me posted and let me know what lsusports says about the video link. so is it a live feed?
