Was there any doubt that the officials were for Florida State?

Too bad an angry mob of Florida fans didn't beat their cheatin ' a$$e$. You hate to say it, but having such a beat down happen when refs are biased just one time would prevent future screwings.

I thought it was custom for the officials in OOC games to be from an unrelated conference?

I think that series has the visiting team's conference provide the refs. Not sure, however, about any other OOC games and the officials they use.

Its the visiting teams conference refs that officiate the game. Im not sure if that is a standard or if it is unique to this series, or what, but I saw on ESPN that Zook is lobbying for a rule change that would allow the home teams conference refs to officiate. Kind of funny, since Florida will be @FSU next year, and could end up with the same crew.

Actually the Florida-FSU series might go to neutral officials. They would bring in say CUSA officals to officiate the game instead of the ones from the visiting teams conference.

See, I thought that's the way they always did it. Maybe it's just for Bowl Games because of neutral sites.
