To contrast against someone else, LSU had almost no injuries and one of the most experienced teams in the entire country. To contrast against ourselves, the 98 team was extremely experienced and had few, if any season ending injuries. Our talent is not worse than it was then either. All this recruiting talk is just talk. We do get our share of players. Recruiting services are a joke. There are so many kids out there that can play that it comes down to injuries, grades, coaching, and scheduling as to who has success not how many x number of stars players some idiot recruiting service says you do. Maybe we could use a star defensive tackle but I would not trade any of our offensive players for any of LSU's players. I would like to have Marcus Spears and Corey Webster but other than that I don't want any defensive player at LSU and I would move Spears to DT and if we can find one more solid corner I would not need Webster. It looks to me that we are in really good shape to fill our needs with this recruiting class. So let LSU fill theirs as well. > Reading the tripe below about Markey is funny. The kid's fine, and if he comes to TU, great! BUT, if the staff feels that things are going so well that they can afford to LOSE him, that tells me we're in really outstanding shape! Hey, many of you guys spend a good portion of your lives comparing TU to ellis hugh (apples and oranges to begin with...). Well, they do this all the time. Why? because they have a bunch of guys they consider to be the best available lined up ready to sign on the dotted line. So, IMHO, this staff (and remember that their jobs ore on the line) obviously feels that they are in a similar situation! They have a "surplus" of recruits who fit the team's needs ready to sign on the dotted line, people they apparantly feel are as good or better than Markey! Hey, I like that trend! And if time proves that these new guys are as good as the signees from the past (and I think they'll be at LEAST that good), we won't be far from crashing the BC$ exclusive party! ROLL WAVE!!!! By the time these kids are seniors, they will be playing Division II ball. Later Tulane. We hardly knew you.
This guy wouldn't want to have Marquise Hill, Kyle Williams, Lionel Turner, Cameron Vaughn, Travis Daniels, or LaRon Landry on TULANE's defense???? Apparently the water around Willow Street contains hallucinogens.
