After reading this morning's paper and listening to ESPN radio, I have come to the sad conclusion that a berth in the Sugar Bowl for LSU is just not going to happen this year. Too many things have to happen including USC, Miami, FSU, Virginia Tech and Ohio State all losing another game. Oklahoma could lose 2 games and still be #2. Best case scenario for LSU is to win out, including the SECCG and a BCS Bowl game, then getting a lot of love in next year's pre season polls. With our killer road schedule next year, we should have the SOS to maintain BCS power assuming wins in all games. That's just the way it is. Don't jump all over me for merely stating the obvious.

SabanFan, I think you might be correct.
Well first thing first, lets play each game one at a time and enjoy
were our Tigers are at this moment. Heck, I will admit that I want
the Tigers to play in the Sugar Bowl but the great thing is we are this far into the season and are talking about "if" we should be in
the title game. Our team is doing great this year and far better than the poll people or BCS computers ever thought (and some Tiger fans) so no matter what happens the rest of the way it's been a fun ride so far and I can't wait to see what tommorrow brings. ;)

    Geaux Tigers!!!!!!

Going into this season, I really didn't expect to be ranked #4 in the polls or #7 in the BCS going into the November home stretch.

Our SOS is killing us, but gradually, I think the naysayers are going to have to get onboard the Tiger Express.

I don't see all of those teams ahead of us losing, but I can conceivably picture: FSU losing to Floriday, Ohio State losing to all three on their schedule, and Va. Tech losing to Pitt. As far as Miami/Tennessee: I don't ever remember Tennessee winning when I wanted them to (which, believe me, has been very rare.)

I honestly don't think we have a real chance to get into the Sugar Bowl, but it will be fun to give the BCS people hell if we win out :)
