I like this poll. No e-mail or registration required.
  2. My question is how much does this play into the actual Heisman candidates/winner
  3. Very little in terms of actualy votes, obviously (1) but it's public awarness all the same and has to help in keeping his name out there.

  4. Based on what I've read on the site (and trust me, I could be wrong), it goes like this:

Heisman Trophy Winners are determined by votes from 924 electors representing sportswriters and broadcasters.

If PP wins this one, it will count as 1 vote of the 924. Not a HUGE difference, but tiga is right, public awareness comes into play.

    Can't hurt.
  5. Im watching, "The Experts," on ESPNU. The topic of who has the best D came up. Tom Luginbill asked if Peterson alone can be considered the best D. He also said that if the Heisman goes to the best player in the country, its Peterson.

No one mentioned LSU as a whole as the best D. Bama, Texas, and UF were listed. I think the problem with LSU is the UNC game. No doubt we have a damn good D. I think if they can improve tackling then they could be great. Definite top tier D right now.
  6. After i did my part:

    Patrick Peterson: 9549

    Daniel Thomas: 1980
  7. Running away with it now ... keep the votes going.

    10383 votes for 59%
  8. Hopefully LSU has enough computer nerds.

The way these things work is that they(nerds) figure out a program that votes automatically for you. That's what those yt8734t78 codes are for. The programs sometimes can't read those, so the votes from them aren't counted.

Hopefully the LSU nerds have figured out how to get by it.
  9. My part is done. Maybe PP will invite us to the ceremony. But in terms of Miles coaching him, it couldn't happen. It must have come to him in a dream. The one between Fergie and when he assumed control of the starship Enterprise
  10. Damn where is Geno Smith on that list? He was on a team that beat Peterson's team in pee wee football.
