It's a dual endorsement. The reason is simple - the chances of either Leach or the completely intolerable Ieyoub (imo, he should have been imprisoned for what he did with the tobacco settlement - edwards never came close to doing anything that sleazy to the la taxpayers) getting into the run off are greater than a dufus like Downer beating Jindal. Thus from a practical perspective, I will vote for one of those 2. With Jindal v either Ewing or Babineaux Blanco, it should be a positive excellent run-off. Throw downer, or ieyoub in there, and it will sleaze. With Leach in the run-off, it would become too much of a black/white thing, which we also need to avoid. I also lean to BB because of Hippocrates - "physician do no harm" - she's the least likely to cause damage. All I really want from government are a)infrastructure b)help to the poor people c)to be left alone and to keep its nose out of my business and life, otherwise. I am not asking for cash handouts, slimy government contracts (a favored vehicle of the right), preferential tax treatment, etc. Now I may vote for Jindal in the general - we'll see - but right now, I'm voting for whomever between Ewing or Babineaux-Blanco I think is likely to get the most votes. I am counting on Who to direct me.

I like Blanco anyway... But if you like Jindal, vote for the most palatable Democrat so you have a runoff between a candidate you like and one you can live with. Jindal WILL be in the runoff--so the idea should be to keep Tricky Dicky out and make sure he doesn't get to be governor. I would say vote Blanco, but a lot of die-hard LSU fans semm to be afraid she'll build up USL-PE at our expense. (I think she knows better.)
I will NEVER, EVER, EVER vote for "Babineaux Blanco". Why? Because the woman uses her middle name when refering to herself in the third person. I'm sorry. I can not abide some loony woman on television refering to her self in such a manner.
No. No I don't. I also don't like Bobby Jindal because I wouldn't vote for a person who uses the same name a child would use. His name should be Robert. Maybe Bob.
