This goes along with outlawing the game of tag as one of the worst ideas ever. The only justification I can see for this is when they discuss gang greetings and whatnot. But completely outlawing physical contact like they have is completely absurd.
We should outlaw kids touching, talking, and looking. In fact, let's just lock them up in their room at home until they reach 18. It's truly amazing how any of us survived our youth without all these wonderful rules.
Schools/school-systems really miss it so often. My grandfather told me they had to hide to speak in French and were "Stapped" on the hand if caught. Now, it's required to have carnegie units of French when entering most colleges.
My Mom was left-handed and was forced to write with her right hand. She still does, but does everything else left-handed.
i am left handed. the first time my mom found out a teacher was trying to make me right handed was the last time a teacher tried to make me right handed. :grin:
