Today the Patriots signed Vinnie Testeverde. According to NFL Radio, for the last few weeks Tom Brady has been on the injury report with soar shoulder. They say that it hasn't really been a problem but, this past weekend he took a bad hit on it. I find it funny that the patriots' injury report is usually a JOKE. But this is definately something that they will not be able to hide now.
I wonder if Belichick's having second thoughts about releasing Rohan? :dis: Didn't even know who the Pats backup QB is. Had to look at their web site to learn that it's Matt Cassel. Looking at his resume his claim to fame is he backed up two Heisman winning QBs at USC, Carson Palmer & Leinart. :lol:
Actually, the scouts are pretty high on Cassel, relative to most back-up QBs. In other words, not as excited about him as they Matt Schaub, but moreso than other backups like Aaron Brooks. :hihi: Cassel's had a pretty good life, backing up MVP QBs, not taking the beating and getting by quite well!
