He looks really really good but it's a little early to be calling him a Heisman candidate. The last time a young back that only played part of a season at LSU was hyped for Heisman by the fans in the off season he traded in his purple and gold for an orange jumpsuit. Lets see what he does early next season before we mail in our ballots.
I don't really think we have to worry about Justin Vincent being the next Cecil Collins. A very good friend of mine went to high school with him and is pretty good friends with him and says he is very soft spoken and an all-around good kid. I agree, next year is a bit early to be talking about Heisman for him, but I think he definately has the talent!
I agree you will not see the same problem with Vincent I just used that as an example of how people can get ahead of themselves. He did have a good half of a season but has a long way to go before we start talking Heisman. He does show the potential though.
Doesn't matter. Unless he gets hit by a bus, Leinart is already penciled in by the supposedly objective Heisman voters. OU's White has to convince them all over again.
I think the Heisman is Leinart's to lose, and if he loses it, Mike Williams will win it. Damn media is so freaking in love with USC it makes me sick.
