Worst Display I Can Recall In Years Sadly, this is the worst display I can recall in a long time from what most, or at least many of us thought to be a fairly decent basketball team. I had almost gotten back into the mood of thinking John Brady had finally got over the hump. No doubt UAB is a good team or they wouldn't be in the tournament, but my God, how can we play this terrible after such a stretch run and good SEC Tournament showing. I am dazzled and sick to my stomach. This makes me want to puke.
I am listening to the game and it is just like torture. Why dont you get the ball in Bass and Davis hands. Why wouldnt LSU be able to break a damn press this late in the year. Dribbling off their feet. Throwing the ball away repeatedly. LSU picked one hell of a time to stink it up. Just not ready to play tonight. Congrats to LSU on a good season but what a way to end it. PATHETIC PATHETIC...was there a game plan? did he ever watch UAB play? we looked like we had no clue! they couldn't stop bass or davis so we jacked up 3's all night long! bottom line...brady sucked...gaurds sucked. every one of our starters is better than their respective starter but they were up by 26 on us? WTF! Sure they came back, but big deal, there's no excuse for that! Would we accept this mediocrity from football?

Re: Worst Display I Can Recall In Years Well you won't have to worry about being alone. I, for one, backed off John Brady. You couldn't bash the guy when the team was doing good. I was hopefull that he had turned it around and was ready to be the coach we all hoped he could be. I'm not sure what won all those games for LSU. Was it immense talent? Coaching? Where were they tonight? However IMO there's not to much of an argument, with a good coach LSU should have won this game. Same thing goes for the last Kentucky game. I don't think John Brady is a horrible coach. I just think that LSU could have a better coach.
Re: Worst Display I Can Recall In Years I honestly hate the Brady bashing... If you hate him ok... fine, you can't help that... But it gives you the impression that you are pulling against the team.... Then the team is in a lose-lose situation. There is no way the team will go undefeated.... If they lose games, the Brady bashers are happy the team is losing, so Brady will go, but unhappy with the way the players are shooting, etc.... If they win.... OK fine... maybe Brady isn't so bad... But when they lose (who cares IF they lose to a good team?), that is just terrible... ESPECIALLY since they just won a bunch. They players are affected by the fans. Everyone knows that... How can you expect them to play up to par when they KNOW (oh and don't act like they don't) that a bunch of fans arn't going to watch them because of the coach, or a bunch of people are rooting against them because of the coach, whom they admire and respect....

Re: Worst Display I Can Recall In Years One last thing... What pisses me off the MOST about fans... People who are Brady bashers who know NOTHING about the sport at all... I tend to add minimal amounts of information to discussions because I don't want to act like I know what I'm talking about if I don't (If I do, then I will argue your head off)... I actually got into a useless argument with a Brady Basher who was mad because "Brady doesn't play our good players....." :dis: :dis: I will just end that there.... I hate ignorant / stupid people....
