Mark it down. Come back in 2 months. Watch as Perriloux uncommits to UT and commits to South Carolina instead.

Guaranteed to play the very first snap of his (true) freshman year. Heisman candidate by the time he is a junior.

    Fear the visor!

I dont think RP is a Spurrier QB. I think they would butt heads way to much. Spurrier's QBs have been smart guys who make smart decisions. I just dont see that happening. Ryan's main concern is getting to the NFL, and Spurriers QBs have not excelled in the NFL (Neither has Mack's so I dont know why he ever committed there). Won't happen, IMO.

I could see Spurriur reaching across the border to North Carolina and convincing Jonathon Crompton to take a look see. It seems he may be reconsidering his Tenn. committment and may be showing some interest in us, but I wouldnt be surprised if spurrier gets his attention. He is more of the pocket type QB Spurrier likes.

I don't think Spurrier would want that cocky-ass kid... I sure don't. He was quoted as saying he thinks that he is the best QB in the country.... Saban wouldn't start him no matter how good he is... not with that attitude.

spurrier has never had a black qb and almost never the top echelon qb recruit since he likes to get all the credit with his benching of the starter week to week. Spurrier likes to win but makes sure Spurrier gets the headlines.

Hell, he didn't start Woeful every game even in his final season and that's the year he won the heisman.

How about you let Saban decide who he wants and doesn't want. Saban wants RP badly. It ain't cocky if you can back it up. Many think he is the best QB in the country. Newsflash- we need a good QB.

Spurrier does not buy players like Texass does.

You really find someone saying they think they are the best QB in the country that offensive? I remember the quote, and it didn't come off THAT cocky. More confident to me. And don't fool yourself Saban would start him in a second if he was the best option.

Wow, it still blows my mind that people in this state are looking down their nose at this Perrilloux kid. Have you seen him play? Are you mentally impaired? This kid can run, pass, return kicks, pour the gatorade, lead the cheers, etc...

RP is incredible. Saban wants him so badly he can't see straight. Have you people not been to Tiger Stadium lately? Since when were we in a position to shrug off an in-state phenom at the most important position in the game? You know, a man named Deion Sanders had a real cocky attitude...

Please stop the "we don't need or want RP" crap because there will never come a time that we do not want or need the biggest recruit in America - especially when he is a LA boy and a QB. This is likely the same crowd that was screaming about how we didn't want Payton Manning either. Give me a break.

RP has not been in trouble and he is GOOD - cocky is something we can deal with...
