Just looking at all of the teams in super regionals. The consistency of some programs is simply amazing. LSU, Long Beach St, Florida St, Cal St Fullerton, Miami all in the running still. Thinking back to the early years when LSU first started making it to the world series and all the way up to present day, these teams have always consistently been there in the thick of things.
So true, it is amazing how these programs have remained at the top through all of the changes that have taken place in the college baseball landscape. A few have a little trouble recently but more often than not all of these programs along with Texas are major players once again. Nice to see Long Beach St step back up and knock off Stanford, another team you cannot discount in the baseball hierachy.
There are only 3 teams to make it to every Super Regional: LSU, Florida St and Miami. Pretty impressive...
