USM leading TCU

    With 4 minutes left in the first quarter USM is leading TCU 7-6. I can't help it but I find myself pulling for the Horned Frogs. Anything that throws a monkey wrench into the BCS can only be a good thing as long as LSU dosen't end up playing them in some bowl game.

    That's what I would be afraid of. Another reason to pull for USM: If TCU runs the table and LSU doesn't end up BCS #2, there will be a lot of public sentiment in favor of TCU. Ohio State or Michigan will be in a BCS bowl, USC will be in a BCS bowl, Texas will be in a BCS bowl. I fear a 1970 Notre Dame type screw job. Don't think it can't happen. USM is doing us a large favor.
