Shreveport is TIGER COUNTRY !!!!!!!! Some media types and LaTech apologists may disagree, but the facts speak for themselves ! LaTech hosted the MIAMI HURRICANES at State Fair St...er...Independence Stadium and COULD NOT GET A SELLOUT !!!!!!!! Not even with Brock Berlin's homecoming. Considering that the prescence of MIAMI and Berlin would draw a pretty decent crowd then where are all these legions of LaTech fans ???????? The phantom fans in Red and Cyan probably number less than those of the Southwood Cowboys !!!!!!! I've said it before and I'll say it now: LSU could hold a Purple and Gold Scrimmage at Independence Stadium and outdraw a LaTech "home" game !!!!!!!! Just because LaTech gets equal billing in the Shreveport Crimes Sports page does not make them equal in the River Cities. The long overdue addition of I-49 has allowed LSU's dominance over UL-Ruston in Shreveport/Bossier to increase logarithmically !!!!!!! GEAUX TIGERS !!!!!!!
If you watched the Tech-Miami game, everytime the Camera focused on the crowd, there were more fans in the stadium wearing LSU shirts than Tech or Miami. That's pathetic for LSU fans to outnumber Tech Fans at Tech and LSU wasn't even playing there.
In all seriousness, we should support our state schools, because it will help our educational system by bringing in more money and more attention to our state
