After reviewing this board. It appears that there is very little talk about the game this week against USC. I hope the team is preparing better than their fans are. I would hate for the majority of your discussions next week to be just like this week, where all you are talking about is how you lost to Florida, which I assume you also planned to beat easily.

Well, so so sorry to disappoint you. Some of us drove 11 hours on Sunday and did not get back to this site until Monday night (and did not have much time yesterday due to lack of sleep). Forgive me if I want to discuss LSU's performance on LSU's board when I want to. If you haven't noticed, we still bring up the performances against UGA, MSU, etc...

Should we set up a little filter to block anyone from typing in the letters "UF" or "Florida" or "Gaytors" to make this jerk happy? Whadda ya say admins?

    Sheesh.

We will get to USC when we want to get to USC. Probably tomorrow. Since you want to run this board, how about YOUR take on the game? Give us your input instead of just spouting off about the topics we choose to discuss. You want to start a topic? Well..... START ONE!!!

What team do you represent? Theres actually more talk than you think...Its just that not all the threads are titled "the USC game" or "This weeks game." Our talk is basically on our injuries and our weaknesses exposed by Florida. Also, it just so happens that Va. Tech just moved our game, which messes up our schedule next year....Anyway, who cares?

I am a USC fan, however, I didn't mention it because, it would be assumed I was here trying to start something. My only point was that I would not overlook the game this week. Through my experiences and I have been through many losses there isn't much you can do about it after the fact.

Further, I think USC has a very good chance of beating you guys this week and I hoped you lost to Florida so that would end your national title hopes and maybe you would look at it as the end of the season and from some of the posts I have read on this board there are some who think this way. I saw one post that mentioned moving on beyond Florida.

I would like to get your prediction on the game this week, when you get around to it. My prediction USC 17 - LSU 14. I could be wrong, but we shall see.

Even being from the south, I still can only identify one USC and South Carolina isn't it. I think it'll be a tough game this weekend, possibly low scoring as you predicted. You probably should've been hoping for us to beat Florida and overlook you guys. Now, our players and especially COACHES have something to prove. My concerns deal with the field position battle and controlling the line of scrimmage. IMO, whoever does that wins the game.

Last time I checked, None of us are going to be suiting up on Saturday. So whether we shift our "focus" to the gamecocks or not isn't going to have any effect on the game.

    But to appease you,

this game, South Carolina, scares the shit out of me.........has all season. Our lack of offensive production against descent or quality defenses is frightful. Plus with 3 frosh TBs as the only thing available that is a concern.......not b/c they are frosh but b/c they have barely played.....they are all quality athletes.

If the offense isn't clicking then we'll have to count on our D to keep us in it. I have no complaints with our D thru 6 games. They've done there job all season except for a few lapses.

USC is over-rated. They have no passing game and their D is not that good. Get your old form back from the Pre-UF game and you will be fine. That dump at USC is not that intimidating nor that loud.

I've noticed from all of these message boards that it's usually teams that play each other every year that have the most animosity and that's natural. We hate Auburn, Ole Miss, Florida, etc. but get along well with the UGA and South Carolina fans. I think personal experiences probably factor into what you perceive an entire fan base to be like. I've been treated well by Auburn and Bama fans on road trips so I may not have the negative impressions of them like other Tiger fans have. However, one a-hole from Florida said something to me in 1998 and I didn't like Florida fans for the longest time. Now, after reading some of their message boards on GatorCountry, they seem alright. They get pretty funny in that Pub sometimes. It just depends on what you're exposed to.

I can't stand them. Cocky fans with nothing to be cocky about. Their stadium is over-rated, fans blow, and team sucks.
