Umm someone called Auburn a traditional SEC power, but I believe Georgia Tech has more SEC championships than Auburn. Auburn is a joke.
Actually, they both have 5. Georgia Tech won the SEC in 1939 (shared with Tulane and Tennessee), 1943, 1944, 1951 (shared with Tennessee), and 1952. Auburn won the SEC in 1957, 1983, 1987, 1988 (shared with LSU), and 1989 (shared with Alabama). For reference, LSU has won 8 SEC Championships, fourth to Alabama (21), Tennessee (13), and Georgia (11). LSU won the SEC in 1935, 1936, 1958, 1961 (shared with Alabama), 1970, 1986, 1988 (shared with Auburn), and 2001
