TBA Sat 11/22/2003 UCLA L.A. Coliseum TBA Sat 12/06/2003 Oregon St L.A. Coliseum ABC 1:30 PM LSU would be undefeated this year if we played this schedule. Notre Dame is horrible this year so you could consider them Arizona #2. They get to play Arizona twice. What a SOFT Schedule, why don't USC just play in a high school league? Hell, if nothing else Miami should be #2 still because of their schedule. Would Love to play them this year. -------------------OVERRATED-------------------------------------------- And talk about when they played Auburn, Auburn wasn't playing well and how hard is it to beat a one dimensional team? :cuss:
If LSU played that schedule, the college football world would be raving about us like they are doing with the Sooners. Imagine the blowouts we would have playing teams like this. If any of the top 6 they list before us played in the SEC, none of them would have the record they have now.
I think he is refering to Notre Dame being Arizona #2....thats why he says "They get to play Arizona twice"...at least thats what I got from it
Yeah, I don't quite get it. Granted, UL-M and WIU are weak (La. Tech is JUST as good--at least to the rest of the NCAA world BEFORE last Saturday, as Hawaii and such), but I don't see where everyone is saying that USC's schedule is SOOOOOO much tougher.
I know it won't happen but wouldn't it be funny if Arizona handed it to USC. Notre Dame is horrible. That win shouldn't count since they are playing like a Division 1-AA team.
dheadtiger is right. If the higher rated teams played an SEC schedule, I wouldn't be surprised if each of them had one more loss than they presently have.
The Pac 10 Sucks. Teams like Wash. St and Wash. and Oregon St and Oregon. They are always overrated. The Big 10 is alot like the SEC. Miami has benifited from playing in the soft conference too. In my mind the Big 10, Big 12, and SEC are pretty close Top to Bottom. We all have our strong , middle , and weak sisters. The reason USC is getting all these props is because they whipped Auburn in the opening game. That has thrown everything out of whack because it looked bad for the SEC strength this year. Right now there is good depth in the SEC. LSU, Auburn, Ole Piss, Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, Arkansas, South Carolina. They are all good competitive teams. That is an impressive conference of good quality teams. Thats 7 Bowl Teams right there. I think you take USC and have them play these teams week in and week out. They would be ranked in the low teens or # 20. Oklahoma is legit. They are on top and a very good team. But to be honest even though they are that good the Big 12 is not as good top to bottom this year. I think if we can win out through the SEC CG then it will be very hard for them to keep us out of the SUGAR BOWL. Geaux Tigers
