  2. Wow... I'm surprised Auburn and TCU dropped all the way out.
  3. Looks like the best of the SEC is all over USC. Can't wait to see the Nebraska /USC game next week.
  4. Texas A & M being #18 is a joke. Fresno State doesn't look better than they did when we whipped that butt in Tiger Stadium last year, and I fully expect OU to hang at least 50 points on them this year.
  5. the USC at #20
  6. I can't understand how USC still is first place when ya'll beat the Number 9 team in the nation and a Conference opponent. It's crazy. Anyhow
  7. It serves no purpose to argue with media consistency, they get a free pass every year to opening up at #1. It's like being given the #1 seed every year and all other programs have to chase them. And after all they are hyped and given they only have one BCS Crystal Ball to show for being the greatest team of this decade. I'm guessing they will close out the decade with at least 5 Heisman's if not more.
  8. I posted that in the other thread and totally agree.

How in the world did they move UP five spots?
  9. Well I think everyone knows by now that its 99.7% that USC opens every year for the next couple of years at #1.

And while I did not think we would be able to leap frog them on their bye week, I did think we could pick up a few more #1 votes (which we did)

Now what we need this and next week is to 1. Take care of Middle Tenn (No defense but they kept pace with Louisville in scoring)
    2. USC needs to win but as ugly as possible.

3.The other USC needs to take care of business and beat up SC ST (Them Beating UGA HELPS ALOT)

    4. USC does anything except destroy Wash St

I think that if all these things happen I feel we should be able to gain the #1 spot!
  10. I am surprised LSU didn't get more first place votes.

It doesn't really matter, though. #2 is as good as #1, until January.
