Pic of Thomas Davis on front page. "Will Georgia Still Rule SEC" in white letters just above the fold. Maybe they put in last years college edition by accident. I'll give them credit though. I bought a copy. This makes "Dewey Defeats Truman" seem accurate by comparison.

To give the write the benefit of the doubt, I'm guessing that the original headline was probably "Will Georgia Still Rule the SEC East", but some editor higher up the food chain thought it was too long.
What a joke. Don't get me wrong, Ga has been my 2nd fave team for a while but it is amazing how LSU still gets little repect. As Buddy Songy says though, all the more incentive for the guys AGAIN this year.

LSU is the Defending National Champions. And will be all year. How much more respect do we need? Now, why Georgia gets so much respect, I don't know. We have more All-Americans, more ALL-SEC players, more recent championships, and beat them twice last year . . . and still they are the favorites. They have been pre-season Top-5 picks for the last three years, Have they ever finished in the Top-5?
UGA's had back to back 10+ win seasons. That is something that LSU has NEVER done. UGA was a good team last year and they return a lot of starters. They deserve a lot, not all, of the hype they're getting.
