LSU senior defensive end Kirston Pittman missed the 2005 and 2006 seasons while recovering from foot and Achilles' injuries, but he does have experience with this national title business. Pittman was a freshman four years ago when the Tigers won the Sugar Bowl against Oklahoma to secure the Bowl Championship Series crown. He played in 13 games that season and made 15 tackles.
