Secondly I disagree with your premise and thats the major problem with our debate. He did not call for tolerance in this recent uprising. Yes he called for tolerance of Muslims which every president in some way or another has called for the last 20 years, because this country was built on free speech and religious freedom. But he has not coddled anybody in that region and thats an objective fact which can be proven. Saying he is weak is view point which can be argued for days.
finally If Im objectively wrong about something I will admit it always.
but just on philosophy I'm pretty much going to disagree with much of what you have said and will say going forward.

Well, Hillary is his administration and she says weak shit. Also I heard his in abmbassador of some sort this mor ig on the radio condemn the video. You should never condemn the video, only the violence.

Nowadays the polo citizens do a well......but. They say well, violence is never acceptable ...but the video was offensive. Just stop at the violence part and let me decide what is offensive.

we are at war with religious extremists who happen to be Muslim. we are not at war with islam as a whole because we are not religious warriors. five or ten thousand people out of 90 million in Egypt show up to throw rocks, burn flags and show their asses.....but that doesn't mean their voices are indicative of the entire country. you are advocating that we fight an extremist element with an extremist attitude and it will never work.

 

It certainly won't work when I am basically the only person i know that goes around saying that all religions including moderate ones are infantile fucking nonsense. Everyone else seems to think faith is a legit way to acquire information.

 

Good point Martin I have yet to hear one liberal admit the fim though distasteful had the same right to be seen as say the "sculpture" Piss Christ (that awesome work of art that had a crucifix in a glass of urine and the whole left was in arms when some christians objected peacefully). Islamist Jihadis consider us their enemy to the death. We must have the gumption to acknowledge it and work on that basis. Whether or not all Muslims feel that way needs to be answered though I don't think so. I think there is a fairly large and growing element of people in the ME that are taking a more secular view. They need to be encouraged and supported. Sort of like the old westerns as more people support the sherriff good thins happen. We should provide positive support and demand civilized response and punch un civilized actions like this. Grant us the strength courage and discretion to find that path.
