Well if this is the case then we were always number two, right behind "rest of the world combined." I'm amazed we were ever head of the EU. I find that to be encouraging.
I knew most of you would pick at the Union part of this as a way to make it sound like being #2 was ok. Heck most of the countries don't have the income/output of our states so I would say that the UNITED states is similar to the EU in design but I digress.
And what attitude is that? The fact that the money that you work hard to earn is worth less and less each day? Sounds to me like more of us should have an attitude..
No, you knew most of us would pick at that part because it is obviously misleading. What is this, the 1700's? There is enough separation between our states to compare to the individual countries of the EU? Do you actually say this stuff out loud before you write it? Or are you so obsessed with our current government that you will actually create new ways to try to make us feel badly? Man, just take an aspirin and go vote. It's gonna work out.
I find it far more productive to work harder and earn more than to sit on the sidelines and bitch about something I can't control.
