Anyone out there ever sit in the 500 sections in the dome. Is this the upper deck? I have an opportunity to get seats on the first row of section 536. Appreciate any comments.
Patton, I have a friend who had Saints Season Tickets in the 500 section. His were a little closer to the 50 yd line than section 536. GOOD SEATS... especially IF you're in the 1st row.. Good Luck. GEAUX TIGERS !!!!!
I used to have first row seats in Sec. 501 for the Saints. They're in the Terrace (upper deck). The only difference between the 500 and 600 levels is that when you walk out of the "gate" you walk DOWN to get to the 500 level and you walk up to get to the 600 level. I believe that when they first opened the Dome, it was all just referred to as the "Terrace" section. They changed it some time later so that tehy could charge more for the 500 level. Then they could start with Row 1 on the 600 level again. But, it's all in the same section. Obviously, the lower the row in the Terrace, the better the seats. I have 4 in Sec. 616 in Row 34. These are on the 35-40 yard line. Although this isn't an offer (I haven't consulted the people I'm sitting with), I'd probably trade 4 where I'm at for 4 where you are looking at just on the basis of it being in the first row.

I sat in the 500's section for the 2001 SUgar against Illinois. They're great seats. THe sections are right on the rail. Perfect view!
