Mills was an absolute revelation as a true freshman given everything he had to face last year. I think he showed tremendous mettle playing on the edge so young. The physical skills are there. He'll learn the technique and the film study and picking up tendencies in time. The mindset was the biggest asset Jalen showed, imo.
I would be surprised to land him. None of his or his stepdads pattern regarding LSU or other contenders looks that great. But UCLA has looked good throughout.
nola.com is reporting that he tweeted his intentions to announce this week. If he hasn't even visited, I'd say we're out.
He did visit in December and had a great time from all accounts. However I had heard that Miles has an in-home visit scheduled for next Monday if he does intend on declaring that does not bode well for us.
I also read where a receiver named Goodman tweeted about joining Willis at UCLA, and the article says Willis didn't refute it, I'm with Bhelm I'm thinking UCLA all the way with this kid.
Our thoughts are going to be confirmed tomorrow when he annouces to UCLA. I am more surprised so many LSU fans have had him as an LSU lean for months. Never seemed like the case even after his visit.
