For those of you who thought LSU had a good chance to win another national championship this year , I say get a grip on yourself. Last year was a season that seemed like all the stars in the sky aligned themselves perfectly for the Tigers. We had veteran leadership at the key positions. We had all of our toughest games at home. We had to have other teams win games at the end of the season to improve our strength of schedule. We peaked as a team down the stretch. We played the national championship game against a team with a hobbling qb. And presto, the championship game is played in New Orleans.
So here we are with 2 losses to top 10 teams. It's rediculous to be hearing all the doom and gloom spewing from Tiger fans. We should cherish the national championship we won and realize how amazing an accomplishment it was. We still have a very good team with a chance to finish the season as a top 10 team. The future of this team looks great and hopefully we will challenge for future national championships. LSU fans be thankful. We are lucky people.

The gators are going to find out what happens when you go against a wounded Tiger.

Oregon St was game one & raining like a son of a gun. We play them 10 more times & win by 20 or more each time. Auburn was a tie. Georgia WAS closer than the score, like someone said Greene's passes were perfect, but overall georgia was better. They are good. Now--- we owe Florida, after that we will roll.

Yea, i really expected too much out of the Tigers this year, ever since the NC i've been expected wins inevery game, its too much pressure to put on the team, especially with all the new players and all the freshman, as long as we get to a good bowl, i'll be content with that, but next year and the year after, we're gonna be good

I put too much stock in the offensive line being dominant and opening up our running game, and hence giving our QB a much better chance at succeeding.

agree with whomever expected us to win another NC this year was simply wishing but it doesnt mean they couldn't have competed for another one if the new starters this year were more mature and more focused. But, that's a roll of the dice and you never know til the games are played.

Not many teams stay at that level yearly except Miami and Oklahoma lately. With Nick Saban I dont think it was unrealistic, given the talent, for peopleto think there was a good chance of this team playing at a much higher level regardless the amount of wins or losses.

they'll be fine...they're just going to take longer to grow and develop than most fans want.

the coaches have been lagging some as well as Riley and Richt each had great gameplans against us which we didn't have a lot of answers for.
