I don't care who it is.. I have no interest in seeing someone's execution... I am pro-death penalty, but seeing someone facing his death still makes me feel pity, even for a murderer.
I know where you're coming from, but I just pictured Saddam crapping in his pants and it made it easier to watch.
If you ever have a friend or family member raped and murdered you might come to think our humane means of execution do not inflict near enough pain and terror. Some can fill their heart with forgiveness and pity, I think that is God's role, not mine.
Actually, my dad was murdered... and I would like the guy who did it to die a very painful death (and we know who it was, but gotta love those corrupt Louisiana police departments), but I still would not like to watch...
Man, sorry to hear that. For me if someone hurt my family, my child or my wife. I would be happy to not only witness the execution, but help snap him in, and pull the switch, then kick him to see if he was still alive. Wouldnt bring my family member back but that isnt the point is it... Call me inhumane, but I dont see it any different. I have a heavily armed house (Hand guns in many spots around the house) and if someone broke into my house with the intent to hurt my family (I wouldnt give them enough time to prove if they intended to just steal or hurt my family), I would have NO problem doing 2 shots to the chest and one to the head and I would sleep like a baby that night. If people dont want to get shot, follow this simple rule, dont break into my home and try to hurt my family... But yes I dont like seeing people die who have not done anything to me personally. I support the death penalty but personally I am not into morbid stuff. Sad thing is many of those people (Who are guilty another topic for another day) who brutally rape and murder die a more pleasent passing then the choice they gave their victims...
